Evolution of a Go program

About the development of Moyo Go Studio, software to (help) play the Oriental game of Go. Go is a two-player zero-sum game of perfect information. It is considered much harder than Chess. Currently, in spite of enormous effort expended, no computer program plays it above the level of a beginner.

Fuseki Module Rollout!

The Fuseki module is ready! At least its basic functionality. I'm very excited - it's lightning fast and I managed to make an automatic update (to be released soon, after more testing) that builds its own Fuseki databases, so it's not neccessary to download new ones. Although that might be neccessary anyway for some customers, because building Fuseki indices for the huge CyberKiwon collection might prove too hefty for machines with 512 MB RAM. The latest CyberKiwon databases are split into "both at least" 4d, 5d, 6d and 7d volumes, to avoid such problems in the future.
